The Center for Investment facilitation was created in 2006 as autonomous agency of the Haitian Government under the supervision of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. its main objective is to facilitate and promote investment in Haiti.

Since its creation, the CFI has facilitated over 110 projects of domestic and foreign investment to a positive predictive value of more than 850 million U.S. dollars in almost all sectors of the economy. These projects are expected to generate more than 60,000 jobs.

CFI offers a wide range of support services and facilitation to investors in their steps aiming to the incorporation of companies or of starting their businesses. It also assists investors in the development of their activities and creates more expeditious procedures related to foreign trade.

CFI works to emphasize the unique advantages and the potentialities not so far exploited, these include:

Proximity to the main market of the World, the United States of America;

Preferential agreements with the United States (HOPE) for textiles;
